Joseph D American Jr was a young patriotic American who joined the Marines
Corp at the height of the Vietnam War in order to serve his country. After serving 3 tours of duty he retired as a highly decorated hero at the rank of Captain.
He returned home to Waco Texas and married his long time sweet heart Tammy Windsong who was enjoying a successful career as a folk singer. Not long after the birth of their first son Joe III(later known as Major Munchies) Joe Sr. began to show signs of post-traumatic stress associated with his extended tours in the battle field. Tammy, who as a folk singer had first experimented with marijuana in the early 60’s suggested that Joe try the plant in order to control his symptoms. To their delight it proved to be the perfect cure.
The couple enjoyed a happy life raising their son Joe who followed his in his father’s footsteps and choice of military service. All was well with the Americans until Joe senior disappeared after a meeting with some old war buddies. He had fallen into a plot by a man known only as the Decider to turn old war veterans into cyborgs to fight the war on marijuana.
Given the name BuzzKill and armed with advanced technology Joe embarked on a rampage of violence toward marijuana users. He was stopped by his son and the freedom fighter Captain Chronic. However her remains at large and poses a dangerous treat to marijuana smokers every where.
Known Powers: Buzzkill possesses several superhuman powers derived from his new cyborg body. He possesses superhuman strength enabling him to lift a small car above his head and is resistance to most small caliber firearms. His primary weapon known as the Corrector, neutralizes the victims canniboid sensors effectively disrupting their ability to get high. At this point it is unclear if the effects are permanent or not.
